Integrity Chamber Provides Information Session on Integrity to the National Security Service St. Maarten
On the 21st of June, 2022, the Integrity Chamber provided an information session on the importance of integrity to the National Security Service St. Maarten (VDSM). The information was presented by Integrity Chamber member Rian Vogels, with the assistance of Policy Advisor, Gabi Fuchs.
The session included information on the tasks and working methods of the Integrity Chamber. Ms. Vogels utilized her background and previous experiences to provide tips on how integrity within the executing agency can be encouraged and maintained. There was open conversation, allowing the participants to ask questions and share opinions.
The VDSM welcomed the information sessions for the benefit of the agency. There was interest in learning more about the authorities of the Integrity Chamber with regards to investigations, and the aspect of confidentiality when filing notifications of suspected misconduct. The Integrity Chamber applauds the VDSM for recognizing the importance of upholding integrity within the organisation.
